Which Candidate(s) and Political Party Will Realistically, Seriously and Honestly Deal With Local, National and Global Problems in the 21st Century?
The multifaceted complex problems we face in the 21st century are unequivocally stark and real.
The polls focus on “The Economy, Gas Prices and Taxes” – as if each had no history and context.
Our ballot requires due diligence – voting with knowledge, intelligence, advocacy and moral clarity. We know what can happen when voting with ignorance.
Lest we forget:
~ Tax Cuts for the rich and corporations did not just happen in 2017 but began in 2016.
~ Denial, misinformation, politicization and polarization about the pandemic did not just begin in 2020 but began in 2016.
~ Overturning Roe vs. Wade did not just happen in 2022 but began in 2016.
~ The insurrection on our Capitol did not just happen on January 6, 2021 but began in 2016.
~ Some 30,573 (and counting) misleading claims and Big Lies did not just happen in 2023 but began in 2016.

CHANGE & TIME ~ Each Creating Hope or Fear? ~ What will we vote for?
CHANGE and TIME ~
Inevitable realities that we can pro-actively manage by choice and design ~ providing hope . . .
Or . . .
Forces that we desperately try to avoid, deny and obstruct – by choice and design – providing fear . . .
Will our vote reflect pro-active change in a timely fashion that enhance our lives in the 21st century or will it represent an ideology stuck on being stuck living in a delusional past.
When do time and change come together – pro-actively reflecting the future?
We can answer this question each time we vote.

“How do I love . . . hate you?” ~ Let me count the ways ~ Why the Reluctance to Condemn the Mania with Gun Violence? ~ Gen Zers no longer waiting for Stuck on Stuck Generations
“How do I love thee . . . let me count the ways . . . ”
Lettered with pen in hand by Elizabeth Browning
“How do I hate thee . . . let us count the ways . . . ”
Needless horror with gun in hand . . .
565 Mass Shootings as of October
26, 2023 and counting . . .

Pathological Lying as a Political Ideology ~ and for some ~ A Way of Life and Voting
Would you ask your children to believe in lies? Or worse, would you teach your children to lie as a way of life? Or, to lie but don’t get caught lying.
How about as a citizen of a Democracy?
Why would you vote for a candidate and party that exists as pathological liars asking their constituencies to believe and promote falsehoods?
Have parents and teachers become the Fourth Estate teaching children not to lie but pursue the truth?
Does credibility, trust and the truth matter in any relationship?
How about between a candidate, political party and citizens?

“Projection” ~ Republican Trumpism’s Psychological Ploy and Disease ~
Psychological Projection is a defense mechanism when an individual attributes their own unacceptable thoughts, feelings, behavior or motives to another person.
In doing so, they defend themselves against their own unconscious impulses, characteristics, attitudes or qualities denying their existence in themselves and attributing them to others.
Remember those bullies during our early school days causing needless pain projecting their own damaged selves.
Unfortunately, some school bullies become adults – even graduate from elite boarding, independent and Ivy League schools.
Some even become president, senators and members of Congress.
The titles, spaces and times shift, but the psychosis continues.

Autocracy ~ Denying Reality and Truth vs. Democracy’s Inherent Human Force ~ HOPE
With each birth, HOPE is inherent within the human spirit.
But hope must be nurtured and mentored in the real world and with the truth. We are the teachers – the mentors – the nurturers.
Hope – it gives life during the darkest of times.
No child is born hating and loathing other children in a hospital’s nursery room.
The vileness and extremism of hate and nihilism is taught.
So is the essence of love and hope.
